The lenders we work with are very knowledgeable about the feedyard industry, slaughter or meat processing industry, and farming / ranching. Most of our contacts are in Texas up through the Corn Belt, but we also know private equity or joint venture lenders on the coasts. Whether you need financing to purchase a feedyard or packing plant, or need the operating line to run that ag business we might be able to put you with the right lender. Ag Brokers also can provide packing plant services for those processors needing kill slots. We know of cow killers, custom killers, and kosher/halal slaughterers that might be able to provide the slots you need or kill the cattle you need to supply your processing requirements. Because of our brokering business in this industry we try to help bring business to the packer and that might also help the processor. Our fee for this business is paid by the packer for as long as the processor is doing business there.
