My Background

I was born in Raleigh and have lived here for most of my life. My roots are in the area and I am proud to call it home. I attended East Carolina University in Greenville, NC where I earned a degree in Communication, specializing in Public Relations while achieving a minor in Psychology. Upon graduating, I came back to the area and pursued a career in marketing for 5 years with positions in copywriting, fundraising and event management. During this time, I determined I would rather use my communication skills, marketing experience and knowledge of the local real estate market to become a Raleigh Real Estate Agent and REALTOR® helping people just like you find the home of their dreams. I am married to my husband Ian and we live in North Raleigh with our 2 dogs and 2 cats. Our animals are all adopted strays and each has their own unique story.

In 2003 I became a licensed Raleigh REALTOR® and joined RE/MAX One and The Triangle Experts Team as a Raleigh Real Estate Agent in 2005. We have been ranked as the #2 RE/MAX Team in NC and SC since 2007 and I have consistently been one of the top Buyer's Agents and am the Team Leader for Personal Referral Business. I also act as a Seller's Agent and hold a Broker's License and SFR Certification, also known as Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource Certification. In addition, I help out-of-town buyers relocate to Raleigh and the Triangle.
