Give me a call. I can find out what the charges are and what the best means of getting out of jail are.

Sometimes, I can get your friend or loved one out of jail without a bond, or a reduced bond, or sometimes can use real property as collateral for a bond. Paying 10% of the bond to a bondsman to get your friend or loved one out of jail should be your last option.

What do I do when a detective or the police want to talk to me?

Talk to me first.

Deciding whether to be interviewed by the authorities is a critical decision that can have far-reaching consequences. Even revealing ""innocent"" information can get you into trouble.

The authorities will tell you that they just want to give you the opportunity to tell your side of the story. You have an absolute right to tell your side of the story, but you need a lawyer to help you determine just when to do so. It may be that your best defense is to remain silent. However, you will not know until you talk to me first.

What can I expect from an initial client interview?

At your initial free consultation with me, we will look together at the charges against you and what you know about the charges. I will also brief you on the possibilities of what you can expect to happen in your case and something about the criminal law process.

Finally, we would discuss financial arrangements.

Again, this is a free consultation
