McGuire Development Company was built from the groundwork laid by Frank McGuire, a professional engineer and founder of Industrial Power and Lighting Corporation (IPL). Aspiring to transcend the role of sub-contractor, the company began broader real estate development initiatives. Projects became more diverse and included owning, developing and operating apartment complexes, high-rise waterfront condominiums and commercial buildings in numerous states. One success led to another, and operations expanded to include hotels, restaurants and health care facilities.

At present, McGuire Development Company owns and operates 2.5 million square feet of space, a factor that sets us apart from others and gives us a unique perspective on market knowledge, building codes, zoning issues and costs that impact the bottom line.
