Sammons & Company, Realtors is a commercial real estate brokerage firm in Central Florida specializing in the purchase and sale of real estate in Polk County. This is a one person commercial and industrial office. Bill Sammons can serve clients in several capacities.

First, Bill works for sellers to market and sell commercial & industrial properties, improved commercial, industrial properties, and investment properties in the Lakeland and Winter Haven urban areas. SCR generally handles commercial properties in the $100,000 to $2,000,000 price range, with exceptions on either side of the range.

Second, Bill works with owners of larger, undeveloped tracts to create a retail market for portions of their property while avoiding the up-front development capital often required by requiring buyers to participate in the development of the initial improvements. This generally involves creating a development plan, rezoning and then marketing soon-to-be developed sites.

Third, Bill enjoys working on the buyer's behalf to assist in the selection and acquisitions of real estate to meet their needs. Bill works for several firms as their "real estate department," regularly handling their property acquisitions and dispositions as well as their leasing needs. They become a part of their staff. Approximately 40 percent of our business involves acquiring properties on behalf of the buyer.

Bill Sammons has 30 years of local commercial and industrial real estate experience in Polk and Hillsborough Counties. He is a past president of the Lakeland Association of Realtors, a past "Realtor of the Year", a past vice-president of the West Coast CCIM chapter, a past member of the Lakeland Downtown Development Authority, and currently is the president of Noah's Ark of Central Florida, Inc., a non-profit developing a gated community for the developmentally disabled.
